The Childcare Choices website has been recently updated to inform parents about the upcoming expansion to support with childcare costs. 

For parents, they have included a helpful ‘Find the Right Offer for You’ section which allows parent to check what offers may be available to them.  The updated page,  also allows parents to subscribe for updates.   Please head to http://www.childcarechoices.gov.uk for further information.  HMRC will keep this page updated with news of the expanded offering as it is being implemented between April 2024 and September 2025.

Phase 1 - 15 hours for 2 years olds:  Working parents of children aged 2 before the 31^st March 2024, can apply for an eligibility code from 2^nd January 2024 by using a government gateway account http://Childcare service | Government Gateway: sign in or set up (tax.service.gov.uk)   Funding will be available in the term after the child turns two, or a valid code is issued (whichever is later).
