Governor Monitoring
A key role for any governor is monitoring. On a regular basis, governors formally monitor activities within the school to ensure that the strategies, policies and decisions of the Governing Body are being implemented appropriately and to learn from their implementation. These monitoring areas are often linked to the school improvement plan and therefore change each year according to the school's priorities. Each governor is assigned a role as follows:

Committee and Panels
Although the Governing Body meets as one team, it is required to have one Committee, the Pay Committee and a Headteacher Performance Review Panel. In addition, it choses to have a Policy Approval Panel. Memberships of these are:
